Sharing Your Pictures About the AuthorMichael Wright - Michael Wright studied Fine Art at St. Albans foundation course, 1972-3, photography and went onto study Fine Art at Liverpool College of Art photography and Design, graduating in 1976. He gained a post-graduate bursary, continuing his studies at the Royal Academy schools photography and was awarded silver photography and bronze medals for sculpture, graduating with a post-graduate diploma in 1979. Wright took up part-time post teaching art in a North London junior school, continuing his art practice photography and exhibiting. He was invited as a guest lecturer to teach on the Foundation course at St. Albans photography and Liverpool College of Art photography and Design Fine Art program. Wright was subsequently offered a permanent teaching post at Hertfordshire College of Art photography and Design, University of Hertfordshire, photography and developed a degree program in Art photography and Design. He was Course Leader for the Fine Art degree program 1993 - 99, photography and is currently a senior lecturer in the Fine Art program. Wright acted as a consultant on the Art School series for Dorling Kindersley, published in association with the Royal Academy of Arts, 1992, photography and authored two titles in the series, Introduction to Pastels photography and Mixed Media. Wright has written several introductions to artists? catalogues photography and more recently undertook an MA by Research entitled Drawing: conceptual models of landscape space 1999-2002. Wright continues to teach Fine Art, electronic imagery photography and photography on the degree course at the University of Hertfordshire photography and is exhibiting work in Britain photography and Europe.
